The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
forever. Amen.

The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven,
and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost,
the holy catholic Church*,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

All Saints Sunday * Celebration of the Eucharist

OUR APPROACH TO GOD
Prelude

Introit “Lord Speak to Me”

Welcome and Call to Worship: Rev 7: 2-14, adapted
I, John saw another angel come up from the East, holding the seal of the living God. I had a vision of a great multitude, which no one could count, from every nation, race, people and tongue. They stood before the throne and before the Lamb, wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands. They cried out:

SALVATION COMES FROM OUR GOD, WHO IS SEATED ON THE THRONE, AND FROM THE LAMB!
All the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They prostrated themselves before the throne, worshiped God and exclaimed:
AMEN! BLESSING AND GLORY, WISDOM AND THANKSGIVING, HONOR, POWER, AND MIGHT BE TO OUR GOD FOREVER AND EVER AMEN!
Then one of elders asked: “Who are these Wearing white robes and where did they come from?”
THESE ARE THE ONES WHO HAVE SURVIVED THE TIME OF GREAT DISTRESS; THEY HAVE WASHED THEIR ROBES AND MADE THEM WHITE IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB!
