 |  |    Thanks to the Liberty Weekend
volunteers!Special thanks and much gratitude is extended to our  New Utrecht
Liberty Pole Association President, Rose Lood and  Friends of Historic
New Utrecht President Bob Buonvino, Vice President Edward Paunetto and
Angela Sarro, Chairperson of the New Utrecht  Liberty Weekend,
David Elligers, our cemetery tour guide and trustee, and the 
Boy Scout Leaders and Scouters for making Liberty Weekend possible!
Many, many thanks to Chaplain George Munkenbeck and the soldiers of the
Brooklyn 14th Regiment, Company H, N.Y. State Militia. Our hats off to Brian
Worsdale for a magnificent expression of America Spirit in the Pops Concert he
conducted last night to a full house! Thank you Brian and the ISO
Band! To our own New Utrechters: Susan, Rose, Maureen, Jo, Mary, Vincent and
many volunteers---thank you!!! Many thanks also to all other volunteers whom I may have inadvertently
omitted. We thank you all profoundly. We are privileged by your
presence
and graced by your efforts and enthusiasm! God bless you all!!!
 The memorial wreath commemorating
the 221st anniversary of the  Liberty Pole is graciously donated by the
Ruggiero Family of Bath Beach Florist. Thank you for your enduring
friendship. God Bless You!
 Extra envelopes for the Restoration FundExtra envelopes will be provided for the New Utrecht Reformed Church Restoration
Fund at each Sunday service. Please contribute generously.
 Sunday, June 20: Men of ValorOn Sunday June 20th, Father's Day, during service, New Utrecht Reformed Church
will honor three Men of Valor, Sons of Aaron: Bob Buonvino, president of Friends
of Historic New Utrecht, Gene Ander and Victor Safay. State Senator Martin
Golden will receive the Legislative Leadership Award.
 Sunday, June 20: Inaugural Worship Committee
meeting An inaugural Worship Committee meeting, led by Elder Erik Ander, will take place
after the Father's Day service.
 newutrechtchurch.org!The Web Editor of New Utrecht Reformed Church, Vincent La Marca, has registered newutrechtchurch.org
and purchased server space on behalf of the church. This site moved to the
new web address on the night of Mother's Day, May 9th!
 Rev. Bob Peterson leads the choir!The Rev. Bob Peterson, our organist, is leading the choir once again. Bob Peterson was active
as choir director until last December. We are glad to have him back after his
stay in California!
 Ongoing Food DriveDeacon Debbie Siciargo has started a ongoing Food Drive. The donations are
somewhat less than expected. Please buy a little
extra of nonperishable food for the needy and bring the items to the collection
basket at the Parish House before service.

Triennial
 On July 22 - 24, 2004, the RCA Women's Triennial - a
Celebration of Faith for Women will take place at the Crystal Cathedral in
Garden Grove, CA. The theme for 2004 is "Let Us Encourage One Another" (Hebrews
10:23-25).

 Sunday, October 17: Commission of our Rev. Terry
TroiaOn Sunday, October 17 at 3 PM, New Utrecht Reformed Church will be commemorating
the Rev. Terry Troia's 10th anniversary as minister of this church. A journal
will be available for this event, which will benefit the New Utrecht Reformed
Church Restoration Fund. More

 Please help the
day laborers by buttering rolls
 The next tentatively scheduled roll
buttering will take place next Sunday, June 13th after service. The
buttering rolls, to help the day laborers in Bensonhurst, takes place
every other Sunday at the Parish House and is a joint project with Bay
Ridge United Church.

 Marion Hodgman who is seriously ill;
 Anna Schroeder, who is back home from the hospital;
 the Rev. Bob Peterson, our organist,
who suffers from Parkinson's Disease and
 Fran Erickson's mother, who died Saturday night.
