preachers will take the place of the minister, Rev. Terry Troia, who will be

 Extra envelopes for the Restoration FundExtra envelopes will be provided for the New Utrecht Reformed Church Restoration
Fund at each Sunday service. Please contribute generously.
 Ongoing Food DriveDeacon Debbie Siciargo has started a ongoing Food Drive. The donations are
somewhat less than expected. Please buy a little
extra of nonperishable food for the needy and bring the items to the collection
basket at the Parish House before service.

Saturday, September 11: Memorial with lights and patriotic musicOn Saturday, September 11th between 7 and 9:30 PM, New Utrecht Church will 
hold a memorial with lights and patriotic music on the church lawn, sponsored by 
Maria Campanella. Details

Saturday, September 18: 
Church Family Supper in the Parish HouseA fund raising event for the restoration of our church. Marilyn Sciarrino is the 
coordinator.
 
Sunday, October 17: Commission of our Rev. Terry
TroiaOn Sunday, October 17 at 3 PM, New Utrecht Reformed Church will be commemorating
the Rev. Terry Troia's 10th anniversary as minister of this church. A journal
will be available for this event, which will benefit the New Utrecht Reformed
Church Restoration Fund. Erik Ander is the 
coordinator for the journal.
 
Please help the
day laborers by buttering rollsThe next tentatively scheduled roll buttering will take place on Sunday, 
September 19 after service. The
buttering rolls, to help the day laborers in Bensonhurst, takes place
every other Sunday at the Parish House and is a joint project with
Bay
Ridge United Church.
