Call to Worship:  Psalm 24, 68 & 118
Lift up, O gates, your lintels:
REACH UP, YOU ANCIENT PORTALS, THAT THE KING OF GLORY MAY COME IN.
Your solemn processions are seen, O God,
THE PROCESSIONS OF MY GOD, MY KING, INTO THE SANCTUARY—
The singers in front, the musicians last,
BETWEEN THEM CHILDREN PLAYING TAMBOURINES.
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!
BIND THE FESTAL PROCESSION WITH BRANCHES, UP TO THE HORNS OF THE ALTAR.

A reading from the Gospel of Luke 19: 28-40

At the conclusion of the reading, following verse 38 which reads The whole multitude of disciples began to praise God with a loud voice for all the deeds of power they had seen, saying: (please join in)

HOSANNA! BLESSED IS THE ONE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD! BLESSED IS THE COMING KINGDOM OF OUR ANCESTOR DAVID! HOSANNA IN THE HIGHEST!

Let us be before our God in silence.

I WILL EXALT YOU, MY GOD, THE KING, AND I WILL BLESS YOUR NAME FOREVER AND EVER. EVERY DAY I WILL BLESS YOU. AND I WILL LAUD YOUR NAME FOREVER AND EVER. A Word of Assurance

The Summary of God's Law (Mark 12:29b-31)
This is the first commandment:
HEAR O ISRAEL, 
THE LORD OUR GOD, 
THE LORD IS ONE!  
THEREFORE YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD 
WITH ALL YOUR HEART, 
WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, 
WITH ALL YOUR MIND, 
AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.
This is the second commandment:
YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.
There is no greater commandment than these.
